Plot Summary
This movie starts with the character of Amanda Sandford, a vituperative and openly misanthropic woman who decides to take a last minute vacation with her husband Clay and their two kids. The couple comes to an expensive rent house close to the sea, hoping to have a peaceful stay. Symptoms emerge at an early stage. Amanda observes a man stocking food at a store. The family almost gets killed by an oil tanker crashing on the beach. Once they go back to the house, the internet and TV become inoperable, and a couple of deer look at them with lifeless eyes in the yard.
