During the filming of Suits, the producer Aaron Korsh thought of another story based on the Hollywood industry revolving around lawyers. The agent was a former prosecutor before changing his field. He did have an idea, but due to the pandemic, the planning got stopped for a little while. He gave a title to the project, named Project Ted, which he pitched to NBC Universal two times and to Netflix. Agent had to make changes in the casting after he got feedback. The necessary changes were made in the script to make it look authentic, and the shooting went on to the floors on 19th July, 2024.
